Good. I hope there are fuzzy worms in his French Onion Soup, roaches in his Caesar Salad, a rat inside his Chicken Cordon Bleu and salt in his fruit cup. YIKES!!! He'd better be nice to the wait-staff, or someone might *cough* in his food...

Any idea how long it lasts? I couldn't possibly get there until 6:30 or so, so my guess is that I simply couldn't make it in time to do any damage :-(.

Well...considering the start time is when everyone arrives you're probably right...however, usually dinners such as this last a couple hours, so if you are totally bored and have nothing better to do, it could work out...
Power to SOME of the people!

It is a retirement dinner....perhaps we can get video of them drinking and acting like fools....or perhaps I should just film myself for that behavior!

I'm probably better off doing the editing for this weekend's video. I also am thinking of buying a video light so I can improve the quality of my freep videos.
More to the point, it doesn't look like there'll be much for me to film, more's the pity, since there was too little notice for us to do much of anything :-(.

I'd be happy to help you with that sometime; it would be real entertainment.
I would say the problem is that would embarass nobody but you, but I think you're pretty un-embarassable anyway :-).

eGray CHICKENS OUT - again!
From the Associated Press (via the Herald-Tribune):
"LOS ANGELES (AP) - Gov. Gray Davis canceled a Tuesday night appearance at an event hosted by the Latino legislative caucus, which decided against endorsing him after he vetoed a bill that would have given driver's licenses to some illegal immigrants.
Spokesman Roger Salazar said Davis will not attend the dinner, being held in Los Angeles in honor of state Sen. Richard Polanco, D-Los Angeles, because of scheduling reasons.
The all-Democrat caucus objected to endorsing Davis' re-election bid earlier this month after he vetoed a bill by Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, D-Los Angeles, that would have allowed undocumented workers to obtain California driver's licenses in certain situations.
Salazar said the governor vetoed the measure because it failed to address some public safety concerns.
Davis is spending the week courting support from Hispanic groups, which represent a crucial group of voters. Davis plans a press conference with Hispanic leaders in Los Angeles Thursday to make a campaign announcement and will attend an event with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Friday..."
Way to go, Hollywood Resistance Force!!!Even the POSSIBILITY of our presence at one of his functions strikes TERROR in the very HEART of the soon-to-be-EX-governor!!!
