I have personally witnessed judges who refuse to force a paternity test regardless of who is paying for it. And after the test was conducted, refused to accept the findings.
This happens in cases where the child is a product of the marriage. Paternity test wise, a single father has a better chance of having the test conducted then a man who's wife has cheated on him.

Mistresses probably pull this stuff on married men not infrequently. A man's sleeping with a gal friend just once because she got him drunk at some dinner she invited him to while the wife was out of town, and she subsequently caught him during a shamefully weak moment, she can subsequently assert that her OTHER boyfriend's kid is actually the married man's. This could wreak havoc on marriages and families. How is this scenario good for married women who ARE honorable?

In those cases, the best recourse is the appellate route, if the statutes are reasonably clear.
The way the statute should be written, the judge should not have discretion if a test is requested.

That why in a pagan nation, men who marry (outside a religous contxt)are FOOLS.
If I weren't catholic, I would only be in it for the sex for fun.
If we had a kid, it would be her burden of proof then.
In this divorce happy era (the vegas ads saying that weddings get better every time) its the only way for men to live.
I have seen too many women, including colleages treat men as financial call options.
Wake up brothers! If you are going to be pagan, then BE PAGAN!
