At least the waiter got something. I've heard many tales of her leaving no tip at all.
You are seeing this all wrong..... The restaraunt was graced by her visit. She left a signed 8x10 color glossy for the owner to hang on the wall. In Bab's view the restaraunt is lucky she even came.
The waiter or waitress was left a lasting tip. The waiter will be able to tell his kids, and his kids kids that he got to spit in her food, add a special something to her soup, and put some snot in the salad.
