I, for one, don't believe the Dumcraps have a snowballs chance in hell of getting anyone else on the ballot. Even if the NJSC rules they can do that.

In another thread on this subject, I state that this will go to the Supremes, and much like Florida, they will determine, exactly like Florida, that the Dumocraps are out of luck.

Now, where is that crow recipe?

I don't see how they can legally replace his name on the ballot, especially since many have already gone out!! This whole thing p*sses me off to no end...the Dems are saying, "Yeah, we're gonna cheat. What about it?"

I wish there was one Republican in the Seante who had the grapefruits to say, "You know what, if they manage to pull this off, we WILL NOT SEAT Lautenberg. We'll block him, do whatever it takes, but we WILL NOT ALLOW this to happen."

Can you imagine all the crying, wailing and gnashing of teeth if the NJSC rules against them. It'll be Florida all over again, the "mean wascally Wepubwicans" stole another one.

I doubt this will go to SCOTUS, no matter how clear it is that the NJ law prohibits this. This has to do with NJ election laws, not federal. In FL, there was an issue of uniform vote counting standards and changing the rules after the election, which are federal issues.

The fox news former judge just said that the NJ supreme court is an activist court and will do whatever the Dem party wants under the color of giving the voters the most latitude. They regularly ignore the legislature.

The republican election lawyer said the dems are going to violate a law whichever way they turn.

My spouce believes the Supremes won't touch it. It's a state issue about a state canidate, not the president, or sole leader. If the NJ supremes rule from the bench and not the law, then NJ is left with a socialist dictatorship, whether they like it or not.
I'd like to know more about NJ law, and with a Senator being a national member, could it go to the Big guys on the bench. It's a good question here.

Now, where is that crow recipe?

Crow Pie

1 crow
stuffing of your choice
salt and pepper
shortening
flour
2 Pie crust mixes
2-3 hard-boiled eggs

Stuff the crow. Loosen joints with a knife but do not cut through. Simmer the crow in a stew-pan, with enough water to cover, until nearly tender, then season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from bones and set aside.

Prepare pie crusts as directed. (Do not bake)

Make a medium thick gravy with flour, shortening, and juices in which the crow has cooked and let cool.

Line a pie plate with pie crust and line with slices of hard-boiled egg. Place crow meat on top. Layer gravy over the crow. Place second pie dough crust over top.

Bake at 450 degrees for 1/2 hour.
