Could be worse - I had an ex-girlfriend whose cat used to crap on the pillows when nobody was looking. It was the cat or me, and the cat won. Good riddance. ;)

I vaguely recall a Johns-Hopkins study that indicates cats carry a parasite that will infect human brain tissue in such a way to cause schizophrenia.

I say indicates, because the authors said they have a problem convincing living schizophrenics to let them
crack open the skull to take a look. (I kid you not - why else would one remember the study without that great line.)

Feces huh? Always wondered how it got from the rodent to the human.
