I agree and Lord knows they have a serious endowment. The local conventional wisdom that Vandy is a conservative school is a myth perpetuated by the media. The only college in Nashville of any size truly conservative is David Lipscomb and their campus school is where my youngest boys will be enrolled from the first day of kindergarten.

Vandy is on the same road to PC ruination that my alma mater Ole Miss has been on for some time.

As for renaming Confederate Memorial Hall, I hope the University gets a public spanking and a homework assignment: writing 500 times on the blackboard, "I will not bite the ex-Confederate hand that fed me".

Honouring one's fallen kinsmen is hardly the same as constructing some pantheon to the Old South. It amazes me that the PC Facists cannot make the distinction.

They will never stop and the faults of the Old South are only the beginning.
