I’d like to think that the fact that she is a total freaking moron might have contributed to her defeat, but I’m no expert.

Black/Jewish political comity is falling apart. NYC Democratic politics is the coming battlefield up north. Combined with the partial exodus of hispanic voters, it’s going to get very ugly for the Dems.

Sharpton and Jackson should know better than to point a finger of blame at another victim-type minority Democrat voter group. A group like that can actually strike back with impunity.

They should have stuck to blaming white European-decent people for all their problems. That group has enough societal imposed guilt that it won't openly strike back.

Besides, how can this be said to be an anti-black action by the Jewish groups? The person that defeated the incumbent was also black.

Sooner or later, the leftists in the news media and academia may begin to realize that you can be black without voting Democratic. Clarence Thomas is black; bill clinton is not black--liberal opinion to the contrary not withstanding.

In the first place, the "Jews" didn't displace two black politicians. In both instances, a black politician lost to another black politician.

In the second place, no amount of money in the world could have accomplished this without the cooperation of local black voters. Money helps win elections, but only to a certain degree. Majette never would have won unless a sufficient number of black voters thought her antisemitic hate speech crossed the line of acceptable behavior. It is to be hoped that both Jews and blacks will understand that their true interests do not always lie with the Democrat party or with the politics of hatred and division.

Yeah... I'm a conservative Jew who gave money to Judge Denise Majette. I didn't care that Mckinney was black, so is Majette. McKinney's positions in foreign affairs were scary for all Americans-- black and white. She was ignorant of her ppls own history. Arab and Islamic oppresion started the slave trade w/ european colonialists in the 17th and 18th century. Yet she, like all black liberals chose to champion and identify w/ arab terrorists by drawing a false parallel to their "minority" status and "suffering".

She supported evil against the US and spread the message of our enemies among her constituents. She had to go.

I find it fascinating that Walters talks of blacks being "unseated" - it's an insult to both Majette and Davis who are not only black but who also, unlike McKinney, have real accomplishments and qualifications for office.

These two individuals have lost their heritage, as far as he he is concerned, because they refuse to tout a pro-terrorist line. Amazing.

The amazing part is not that this is happening, but that it took so long. Well-to-do Jewish Uncle Toms have turned a blind eye to black anti-Semitism for over thirty years, as long as it didn't harm them personally. By now the monster has grown so, that it affects a great many middle-class Jews. Many Jews who are not directly harmed by black anti-Semitism, see the attacks on Israel and support for those would annihilate the Jews of Israel, and refuse to tolerate them. The McKinneys and Hilliards are angry at the Jews for not doing as they are told, but seeing as they couldn't be any more anti-Semitic than they already were, I guess their Jewish opponents figured they could live with being dropped from McKinney and Hilliard's respective Chanukah lists.

Meanwhile, a lot of folks have conveniently forgotten how many black politicians over the years have relied on Jewish help, whether from inside or from outside their districts.

Not that I would ever take up for or vote for one Mr. Joseph Leiberman but Hilliard & Cynthia Mckinney were beaten by a Black opponents that as far as I know had no connection to Jews. The reason McKinney lost was she's a frigging Idiot that hates Georgia & America. If the Blacks or anybody else that has a problem with that maybe they should be ganged up on or discriminated against. Not because they are Black but because they are STUPID!

You make an excellent point. Jews are unique among white Americans in their willingness to stand up and fight for themselves as a community. Although there are many, many self-hating Jews there are also many, many Jews who take pride in their community and its accomplishments.

Other white Americans would do well to take a page from their book and stand up for themselves against the media and leftist politicians - especially the self-haters among them.

I wish these people would STOP talking about religion and skin color. They want "equal rights, blah, blah, blah; and then they continue to whine, piss, and moan - perpetuating their friggin differences. Blacks won both primaries, after all. Why would Blacks be mad about Blacks winning?

So no, this wasn't about RACE so much as it was about ideology. McKinney wouldn't even allow an American flag to be displayed in her Washington office. Hilliard violated U.S. sanctions and laws by going to Libya.

The race card can't explain all of this, but ideology can...

Hilliard, too, is a fervent supporter of Palestinians, and lost in June 56-44 percent to opponent Artur Davis, who is also black

This has got one of the most disgraceful displays of the victocrat mentality that I have seen. Two black candidates are defeated by two other black candidates, but yet it is still racism. Has anybody thought to tell the defeated candidates to look in the mirror and try to figure out what the Hell is wrong with themselves that cost them to lose, before blaming racism and everyone else?
