Three utility poles that broke and leaned dangerously across Farrington Highway yesterday originally had been scheduled for replacement next week, a Hawaiian Electric. Co. spokesman said. When the poles broke yesterday, they knocked out power to 5,000 customers and created a massive traffic jam for hours. Workers spent all night repairing the damage, said Fred Kobashikawa, spokesman for Hawaiian Electric Co.

" "Unfortunately they didn't get to it in time," Iaea said. "And it wasn't no wind or anything that blew it over." "

No Squat, Sherlock!

Wood rot and termites have eaten/are eating the hell from the ground up on the electrical infrastructure all over this Democrat/Union mismanaged corrupt state!

One would think that for all the taxes extorted from the citizens of the state that they government planning adn engineering offices could at the least maintain the lifesblood of the economy, the electrical system, but no!, the dems sit around in the house and laugh about it, since it was one of their cousins that got the contract to replace the rotten pole.

We need more like Buzz Aldrin to pull a "smackdown" of some of these laughing bastard hyena political and union dogs...

Go Linda (Lingle). Things are still looking good for a turnover this election.

BTW, I asked a friend who lives in Waianae how long it took her to get home yesterday - leaving at 3 took her 2 hours from Mililani. Others who left the school at 5 didn't get home till closer to midnight.

And it gets worse by the month for the folks over on Oahu.

The spillover of the corrupted Dem/Union machine has also been felt on the other islands.

It will take decades to bring Hawaii back to functionality, that being only the infrastructure which was built only for the WW2 era.

Tourists have yet to see the absolute horrors that may befall them (been stuck in a brand new elevator lately, due to lack of electricity)?

With the airlines problems and the decay of the infrastructure, "Tourism Hell" has just begun...
