I don't understand how American women go for these creeps like they do

This will get me in trouble with both bible thumpers and women's libbers, but here goes:

If you believe in evolution and natural selection, there are valid reasons for this. There have been some interesting studies that show that female promiscuity with strangers is a commonplace occurrence in many different species (especially apes and monkeys.)

It is to a women's advantage to play the faithful wife within the extended family and village community, where she is rewarded with security for herself and her children, with material benefits provided by the sweat of a man's brow. But it is also to her advantage and that of her tribe if she has a fling now and again with a passing stranger, mixing her genes in another assortment that increases her chance of passing them on to her descendants. Hybrid vigor and all that.

Of course, guys, none of us know any women like this, do we?

Actually, most of the women I know in this situation didn't think of it as a "fling," but as the "real thing."

Many of them--my sister was one, briefly, before the guy left her--marry these creeps.

NOTE: I'm not saying all Middle Eastern men are "creeps". I know quite a few of them, fine gentlemen.

But the CREEPY ones--and I've known quite a few of them--who have this callous attitude toward women (and a lackadaisical attitude toward personal hygiene) nevertheless don't seem to have any problem getting the "white chicks."

To me, it makes as much sense as setting your cap for the bum that lives under the freeway overpass. These are seriously strange dudes.
