Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is demanding an apology from the Bush administration after a State Department official publicly asked him to avoid engaging in "sexual tourism" during a trade mission to Cuba.
The incident began when Otto J. Reich, assistant secretary for Western Hemisphere affairs, was asked by reporters if he had any advice for Ventura and the business executives who will accompany him this month.
"First, I would ask them not to participate in sexual tourism, which is one of the main industries in Cuba," Reich told the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Jesse found the remarks offensive then decided to do some "information gathering" about the subject, really getting to know the situation "inside and out".

God forbid they should behave like the people in Las Vegas where it's listed in the yellow pages and the classified sections of the newspaper.

Oh yes... Ventura has free lifetime membership somewhere. A cat house of some kind? I forget. And I am beginning to see why so many liberals love to visit good old Castro.

Gee Jesse, I didn't think anything could offend you. You don't seem to mind mouthing off, yourself.

Sadly, much of it in Cuba involves children. Male & female, sold by their parents, ignored by the police, & with the approval of the government.
It really is a terrible country, no matter what Jimmah Carter says.

"he'd already called religion "a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers,"
I didn't realize you were so morally sensitive, Sir Jesse.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
What is really obscene is a governor of a state visiting Cuba in the first place, Jesse. But then, let's not make any moral judgments about a regime that's murdered tens of thousands of freedom loving people.
Methinks you were thrown out of the ring one too many times. You are past being a joke, and are now hovering in cartoonland.

He's a barbarian. It's scary to think what he might inspire.
