Bush played this so well.

What did Bush do?
By the way, on 9/11 on Brit Hume's show I think it was Fred Barnes who mentioned a recent poll showing Coleman over Wellstone, 44-40%. I have not been able to locate it, if he was indeed correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I heard this on local (Minneapolis) talk radio last night and when I tried accessing this site this morning, it is gone...a bit odd I thought...

"But Dick, I soiled my pants when I learned about the attacks, so please just let me come back to Washington for a change of underwear." Ooooh, what an astute and intelligent response! Hi-larious! Poo-poo is always a winner when it comes to comedy. Well, in the second grade, at least.

Everything associated with Wellstone is an embarrassment. I remember him meeting GHWB as junior senator from Minnesota and, during a highly publicized (and televised) social greeting attempting to castigate him about some matter of foreign affairs. After being one of several junior senators shaking the president's hand, GHWB turned to the aide next to him (with the microphone off) and clearly mouthed the words "Who is that chicken shit?". His voting record is a conservative's nightmare. He ran on the conditions of term limits and then withdrew that promise when his term was up. He is one of the stupidest people in the Senate. I hope he gets trounced this fall. It is am embarrassment having him represent Minnesotans.
