Marlowtutun watched the smoke from his Camel curl thru his hot, humid Alexandria office. Someday, he'd get space near the Sphinx, when he could afford it.

The woman who had just left his office was a leggy brunette who seemed familiar--but would not reveal her identity. She was nervous, looking at the door she had just entered as if someone might be right behind her.

Seems something was hinky about how young Tut bought it--at least that's what she said. She'd left a retainer of 1500 gold pieces but he was still uneasy. This case felt like trouble. "Dames" he thought . . .
