What does an election supervisor have to do in order to get fired?
It is an elected position in Florida. Therefore, in Broward, a Democrat is forever.
The previous supervisor of Elections, Jane Carrol, was a Republican that served for 30 years, since Broward was a majority Republican County and she had no effective opposition. No one else wanted the job. She quit in the middle of the 2000 fiasco-she was too old to take the long hours.
