Stratford high school to undergo anti-hate training

(Stratford-AP Sept. 11, 2002 7:00 AM) _ Some Stratford High School students will begin anti-hate training.

The sessions are a reaction to a picture that appeared on the high school's yearbook cover last year. Two students were accused of making a Nazi-like salute in the picture.

The school will team with the Anti-Defamation League to conduct the sessions. The school is also beginning a program called "Respect Me" aimed at cultural diversity.

Stafford High School principal Daniel Hatch says he wants the programs to be long-term, not just a lecture that's forgotten. The school will pick 30 students to participate in the sessions

"A Nazi-like salute": is that similar to a Muslim prayer re-enactment, which is now a new feature of CA schools "cultural diversity" programs?

Isn't "anti-hate" training an assault to free speech? Who is running the social engineering department at your local school?

yes to be sensitive to others you have to hate those who stand for politically incorrect things in favor of politically correct things. It's all hate all the time. Lets foster hate for the things we hate and love for the things we love. Just don't tell me who or what to love.

that's sensitive and nice and all that, but I just prefer to hate all people equally. That's fair, isn't it?

Homer Simpson has a guaranteed plan for avoiding jury duty: "Getting out of jury duty is easy. The trick is to say you're prejudiced against all races."
