There is no reason to expect
The Lost Tribes of Israel carried the Hebrew language intact past their Assyrian Captivity since they lost virtually all their identity as Israelites prior to their exodus and subsequent diaspora. That is what their punishment was all about.
(This, despite the impressive documentation by E. Raymond Capt in his outstanding book Assyrian Tablets in the British Museum which shows the extensive Hebrew roots in todays Germanic languages.)
