Liberated? No one would dare liberate you Texasforever, I doubt anyone has the fortitude to chip you out of the concete you're set in, or come between you and a good steaming bowl of prunes. This article is not about secession, it's about State's rights and taking back State's power from D.C..

No it’s about 20,000 folks moving to Texas or some other state with the express intent of taking over that state's government. They couldn’t do that in Texas with 200,000 much less 20 but this "plan" stinks like week old headcheese.

No, Texas is not being considered. One of the requirements is that it be a small state. Texas has close to 20 million people, it would be too hard to take over. That being said, count me grateful that Texas isn't in the running for this assinine plan.
