Teach her to play fetch, run her until her little tongue is hanging out. She will be happy to lay still for a while.
Found a bad side to teaching a cat to fetch. If you tire of tossing their ball or toy for them ... they have claws to keep reminding you ... let's play. : )
I'm the one with my tongue hanging out. Kimber does her "fetch" ... jumps in the pool ... shakes herself off ... comes with the ball and we start all over again. In spite of repeted warnings by my poolguy ... that ONE dog, is like 7 people in your pool. LOL &;-)
