It won't --- don't be fooled. This isn't about reparations, really. It is about the poverty pimps continuing to milk the victimhood game for everything they can get. If they ever got reparations, believe me, there would be something else to gripe about and demand payment for. These people believe in transfer of wealth, reparations is just the latest form.

That being said, I, too, have given thought to allowing reparations; but, ONLY if these people never get any government aid again. No more welfare payments, no more quota system (oops, "affirmative action"), no more getting into colleges with lower scores than people who don't get in, etc. However, I know that the "black leadership" would never go for this, so, NO to reparations.

Please, get serious! Reparations would just give them a huge leg up--it would never shut them up. They would then be a huge hate group WITH FUNDS, LAND, etc. fighting the US from within. They are anyway, but reparations would give resources, stature, etc.

When Louis Farrakhan dies, they will have to get the "jaws of life" to shut his mouth. It is always open wide spewing hate.

Are you kidding? I don't think this will "end" unless blacks get to play the role of Mugabe and his thugs in this country. I'm convinced that at least for the more radical blacks, nothing less than a reversed slavery will be tolerated in thier movement and sadly they have the pass that white bigots had years ago. Dangerous thing.

That's like giving a drunkard the bottle of beer he's asking for, hoping that'll make him stop drinking!

... Or like signing a Kyoto-like treaty to shut up the environmentalists. Or strinking a "land for peace" deal with the Arabs. Or handing over a portion of N.Y.C. to al-Qaeda, in the hope that it will make them leave us alone!
