So the UC Regents are figuring that the most likely applicants to suffer the hardship of divorce, gunshot wounds, abuse, drug use or Illegitimate birth are Blacks and Latinos.

Not only that. They will accept these unverified tales from Blacks, Hispanics, gays, females, the disabled, immigrants and more ...Then turn around and reject the ones from male whites and Asians.

Walter Williams has also said that this sort of admissions policy breeds failure. You end up with students at the UC that should be at a CSU and CSU students that should be at a CCC. They struggle and fail. California is expecting 700,000 new students this decade. The UC system is expecting 65,000 of those and the only have room for less than 20,000 at this time. On thing that should scare the heck out of the rest of the country is that by 2010, 25% of all college students in the USA will be attending school in California.
