whenever they say it's the principle of the thing - it's for the money.

In my opinion, Rocky Horror was dumb. Still, Sarandon manages to be dumber. Were the actors not paid according to their contracts? Did the cameramen get stiffed?

I relate movie makers to those who invest in new businesses. There's no guarantee of success, and if they have a hit, then they deserve to reap the rewards.

Never understood the popularity of that film. Most boring and dull 2 hrs I ever wasted.

I'm no fan of Susan Sarandon. But I do believe performers should share in the successes (and failures) of their works. It's her image on the screen. She should be paid for it.

No Susan, The least they could do was spelled out in the contract you signed, What you want are residuals on that hoary movie.

It's been a golden egg for the longest time, and it's the least they could do...

And while I'm bashing Sarandon, didn't Rocky Horror launch her career? I mean, giving a few minutes of her time as a thank you to those investors that gave an unpromising young actress a leg-up on a career filled with undeserved success (if you count talent as a measure of deservedness)...well that seems the least she could do.

Meat Loaf kicked ass in the movie.

The rest of it was faggy show tunes.

Everybody who watched it should get paid restitution by the idiots, like Sarandon, who made it.

"Slut!"

Ok. So i've seen it a few dozen times. The movie, by itself, sucks. It's the audience that makes it much more than it otherwise would be.

Susan looked pretty good in Rocky Horror, but it's been all downhill since then.

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show." The movie that wants to be Brian De Palma's "Phantom of the Paradise."

Did Sarandon put up money to make the movie? Did she have any money at risk should the movie have flopped? Would she have still cashed her checks had the movie flopped?

I answer no, no and yes.

I have no problem with this; I've been boycotting Sarandon for years. Fair is fair.

Ahem. Ms. Sarandon: did you not sign a contract, denoting what you would do, and how you would be compensated for doing so ? Did they hold a gun to your head ?

Hint: the answers are "Yes" and "No", respectively. But after all, it's only a contract: they're making more money than anticipated, and you're not getting any of it, so therefore, they must have stolen it from you. Typical Hollywierd liberal thinking. OTOH, as I recall, the cast and crew of the original STAR WARS **ALL** got a share of the profits, and all are doing quite nicely. Why ? Because it was in their CONTRACT. . . .

So, Susan, cry me a river. . . .
