Sorry Doc, but your words today are belied by your 'God is sovereign' remark in reply to #18.

Nonsense. I live within the laws of society like the rest of the sheep, until society or the Constitution tries to force me to live in opposition to God's Law. Then, I go my own way... and the way I choose is laid out for all to see in His Word.

The reason is simple: God made this universe. He owns it. He is sovereign. Ultimately, I will face Him as will you. Nations, and their founding documents, come and go. The Constitution is not holy writ. God's Word is. I'll stick with His wisdom in the long run.

If you think that p.o.v. is subversive, too bad. Jesus told the truth regardless of the consequences. Who would you rather be? The Roman centurion carrying out the letter of the law? Or those who serve the Creator of the Universe? You cannot serve God and mammon.

God is sovereign... not the Constitution, the Magna Carta or Robert's Rules. If you prefer the laws of men to The Laws of God, good luck when you meet him.

Oddly enough, our nations founders wrote the constitution to list our God given rights, not to grant them. Those who study history know this.

Thanks Blam. I have always loved archaeology and appreciate your list. Archaeology started out as my future career when I was in college. I began by illustrating some guys thesis by drawing obsidian points. I somehow got detoured into politics along the way.
