BTW, when and what branch of service did you serve? Just wondering. War is an ugly thing. I'm not worried about how Bush will handel this. As a matter of fact, I think I know what's happening.

I don't need instant deployment. What I need is for Bush to unequivocally state that the people who slaughtered our civilians will be dealt with. By us. At a time of our choosing.

This borders on maudlin.We were on top of this Sunday.It takes time to crank up aid to countries 1000's of miles away.
The U.S.gives 40 % of all the aid worldwide.
Bush told his people to get behind this and didn't need to go on TV saying," I am sorry".
Democrats are acting like he is running for office again.
The 35 million doesn't include the costs of planes,men & equipment to furnish the aid.
