The L.A. riots got bad because, apart from a few Korean business owners, the people of Kalifornia have been disarmed and convinced that self defense is naughty.

Prior to the riots, the LAPD began drills and training in riot control. Black "leaders" immediately protested, saying the training was 'racist' and 'assumed the worst' of the population-of-color.

The cops were forced to stop preparing for the inevitable.

Is it any wonder they stood back with folded arms while the population-of-color demonstrated its worst?
