In the Clinton years, any writer who could spell Clinton and Jones was a hero to the right. Let any writer today take after W they are insured instant flames from the right (or as some of us are inclined to think, the wrong).Dowd is a typist, not a writer.
Few here would pay a nickel for what your crowd is "inclined to think."

Maureen's college days of smoking weed have arrested her developement and mutated her psychological growth to the point that she is embarrassing to read. She is a small minded nasty little liberal valley girl and should be sent to a nice safe institution where she can't hurt herself, or bore the world of Times readers to death.
I don't know why I clicked on this thread, I already know she is a born sorry a$$ silly elete adolescent democratic cheer leader with absolutley no talent.

Comic strips are better written and more coherent, than Dowd's column's. The constant refrain of "baby talk" and "gibberish" is a pathetic cry for fertility, from the "Barrenis" of the NYT.

She certainly took her sociology professors (and all the other "soft" science instructors) way too seriously. Otherwise, you are right on.

And yet, they still carry her column. OK, I can understand the elitist liberal NYT carrying her, but she's in several newspapers around the country including the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Chattanooga Times - Free Press. Yeah, they're liberal, but they ain't the Times.

I don't know why I clicked on this thread ....
Same reason we all did: for the Catherine Zeta Jones pictures.

Sorry, fella, not me! Girls don't raise my lid. Must have been just a lapse in judgement.
To: meyer
I wasn't aware that she was carried anywhere else. Hard to imagine, go figure!

We don't hate you because you're a newbie....but how about being a little smarter? Try to keep up.

What does Clintons SEXUAL childish acts have to do with this??? Bush is a Man and a gentleman...Clinton is trailer trash getting BLOW JOBS from interns in the Oval Office while talking on the phone with a Congressman discussing sending men and women into BATTLE. It doesn't get aNy slimier or trashy that that. Even Kennedy and Johnson had more class.

"I have nothing against sharing, of course. As long as it's us getting the shares." I suppose Mo' Dowd thinks that's clever.
Maybe after I drink as much MD 20-20 as she has, I'll think so too. But it'll be awhile.
To: Temple Owl
Wasn't it just funny to have Maxine Waters flub up with the Solomon Barney Frank fiasco? Why doesn't Dowd write about this stupidity along with The Reverend Jesse Jackson's comments of Bush being unliterate. Ha ha ha---Unbelievable the circus that Bush has to deal with. These guys are serious!!!!
