NewsMax reported in a story “Report Links LAX Shooter to Egyptian Jihad “ on July 5, 2002 that the LAX gunman Hesham Mohamed Hadayet was a secret operative of the Egyptian Jihad cell in Brooklyn, New York which helped Ramzi Youseff carry out the 1993 WTC attack.

But the NewsMax story further reported that Hadayat abetted the pilot Gameel el-Batouty who deliberately crashed Egypt Air Flight 767 after it departing Los Angeles and was en route to Cairo via Kennedy airport in New York on October 31, 1999.

Ali Mohammed worked as an FBI informer and close undercover source for the FBI. He would report to the FBI about his overseas travel and what he also was doing in the US. This was reported in the Sacrmento Bee in 1998 (actual name of one of Ali's FBI handler given in the article).

Former CIA and State Department counter terrorism official LC Johnson (now a consultant for Fox News)also testified before COngress in 2001 after 9/11 about Ali Mohammed's role for the FBI. I saw LC Johnsons testimony on CSPAN. Johnson claimed in his testimony that the FBI and CIA lost track of and was "double crossed" by Ali Mohammed.

True, he went to the airport with that intention. I read earlier than he left a message taped to the window either at his home or place of business. The full content of the note hasn't been published, but someone posted at part of it said "Read the Koran" or similar wording.

The former Pentagon terror advisor Jesse Clear started working on major portions (75 %) of this Patterns of Global Terrorism Report beginning in 1994. A public and a classified report like it has been issued every year since at least 1995 or earlier. It is a wealth of information.

Well, if things are truly this coincidental, then it would be very simple to eliminate these limited number of threats to American security.

My take is that there probably islittle to absolutely no linkages between these various incidents.

On the other hand, in a highly varied, diverse, and complex world I have yet to figure out how a handful of highly competitive news organizations will resort to reruns of the news in national and international syndication.

Maybe the report is right on and the world as we know it is simply a giant Truman Show. <;^)

THREE of the suspected hijackers plotted their part in the atrocity from a home in furnished with little more than a television.

Khalid Al-Midhar, Nawaq Alhamzi and Hani Hanjoor disappeared late one night about three weeks ago from the two-storey Parkside Apartments on Mount Ada Road, Clairemont, in San Diego.

When FBI agents started asking questions at the complex the terrible truth dawned on residents. 'This is just too devastating to have so close to home,' said Keith Link, whose own apartment overlooked the trio's terror cell.

It appears that they settled first at Clairemont before moving to nearby Lemon Grove, then spending time at an Arizona flight school before returning to the Parkside Apartments.

Al-Midhar and Alhamzi spent some time staying with prominent Moslem leader Abdussattar Shaikh, a retired English professor at San Diego State University.

He lives in a two-storey house on a hillside overlooking a Lemon Grove valley. Filled with books and pamphlets on Islam, it's a gathering place for young men who share the culture and faith.

Alhamzi, who said he was from Saudi Arabia, lived with him from September to December. 'He was a loner and didn't talk much,' said Shaikh.

'He said he came here to learn English, but I didn't see him going to school very often. He told me he wanted to marry a Mexican girl. He said that Mexican girls made good wives. The problem was that he didn't know any Spanish. So I taught him a few Spanish phrases.'

The other suspect, Al-Midhar, lived with Shaikh for about four weeks last September. 'Khalid spoke hardly any English. He said he was from Saudi Arabia and he and Nawaq were friends from childhood.

'I never had any hint that they were going to do something this terrible. They never expressed dislike or hatred for America. Looking back, the only strange thing about them was that they always went out to make phone calls rather than make them in the house.

'I feel so sad. I'm doing my best to bring the people together, and I get people like that in my house.'

Hanjoor received pilot training at CRM Airline Training Centre in Scottsdale, Arizona, for three months in 1996 and in December 1997. CRM president Duncan Hastie said Hanjoor, believed to be the pilot of the jet that crashed into the Pentagon, was polite and personable, but a poor student. 'He didn't do his homework and he didn't show up on time.'

Hanjoor received a commercial pilot's licence in 1999.

Neighbours say the three men all returned to live at the Clairemont apartments several months ago.

Apartment manager Holly Ratchford described Alhamzi as polite, an 'attractive guy' who often stopped by the rental office to chat and share coffee and cookies.

Residents at first warmly greeted their neighbours but gave up when they got little or no response. Late in the evening people would come and pick them up 'in really fancy nice cars, brand-new Lincolns'.

Neighbour Freddy Evans said: 'They used the pool, but only when no-one else was there. They were strange. Three grown men playing in the pool like kids.'

Another resident LaBaron Coker saw them abruptly disappear late at night last month. 'I saw them moving out. They had a rental truck.' "

Al Qaeda Fingered in LAX Attack

A senior Israeli official said Saturday that an Arab gunman's deadly rampage at Los Angeles International Airport on July 4th had "all the hallmarks of the al-Qaeda organization."

The unnamed official, described by Agence France Presse as "close to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon," said that he had "no doubt" the shooting by Egyptian immigrant Hesham Mohamed Hadayet was a "terrorist" act targeting El Al, Israel's national airline.

"The official however added that there was probably no link to the Palestinian conflict," the French news service reported, "but rather that it bore all the hallmarks of the al-Qaeda organization."

In separate comments late Saturday, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nation's Dore Gold said there's a history of Egyptian nationals like Hadayat being recruited for al Qaeda-connected terrorist operations.

"We've seen Egyptian nationals who have been mobilized into radical Islamic groups before," Gold told WABC's John Batchelor and Paul Alexander.

"You've had the (9-11) operation in New York, the first World Trade Center attack, the assassination of Rabbi Meir Kahane in New York; all usually done by Egyptian jihadists or organizations," he explained.

"And, of course, since many of these organizations have operated against the government of (Egyptian) President Mubarak through Ayman Al-Zawahiri, who eventually merged with Osama bin Laden, we've seen Egyptian nationals involved in al Qaeda," Gold said.

Thanks for the additional research and info on FBI agents Maddock and Baker.

Maddock and Baker are NOT America's finest. They really solved the OKC case didn't they? What many don't know about the ME connection to OKC that Baker and Maddock covered up will get Americans killed. But, they were just carring out unlawful orders form Freeh and Reno-the Nuremberg defense. But Bush, AShcroft and Mueller say do not go there, put it behind us.

Should we sleep well knowing that the FBI is supposed to protect us from the sleeper cells they allowed to be created under Ali Mohammed and still will not roll up?

The FBI still gets their pensions, bigger budgets and more powers while we get less freedom and less safety.

But our wonderful politicians in Congress will make it better won't they? They say they will, but we could be dead at the hands of more terrorist attacks by the time they ever do anything adequate to cleanup failed personnel and policies at the FBI and DOJ.

But wait, Mueller and AShcroft and the White House say America should inlist the American Muslim Coucil and Hamas terrorists in the US to fight the war on terrorism.

Jayna Davis has told David Schippers that I am too hard on and critical of certain of her personal FBI agent friends (like Dan Vogel and perhaps Baker and Maddock), too anti-FBI misconduct and therefore am not politically correct and should be ignored about the OKC bombing according to what I am told by reliable friends I know who know Schippers.

In my informed opinion (from sources and my own interactions) Schippers and Davis want the FBI reformed but they want the reforms of some of their FBI agent friends that are also culpable and who won't reform the FBI enough the right way. The FBI should not be allowed to have FBI agents reform the FBI alone. In my opinion Schippers and Davis are way too close to the FBI to rely on them to get the really adequate reforms needed in the FBI.

Authorities are investigating whether Hesham Mohammed Hadayet, the Egyptian who gunned down two people at Los Angeles International Airport last Thursday, met in the United States with Osama bin Laden's deputy, an Arabic paper reported at the weekend.

The London-based Al-Hayat said that authorities were checking whether Hadayet had met with Ayman Al-Zawahiri in 1995 and again in 1998, while the latter was head of the Al-Jihad organization in Egypt.

Al-Zawahiri, who visited California in 1998, went on to become bin Laden's right-hand man. His current whereabouts are unknown. Hadayet, 41, was shot dead by an El Al security official soon after opening fire on the crowd of people queuing at the ticket counter of Israel's national carrier.

Ali Mohammed accompanied Al-Zawahiri when Al-Zawahiri came to California in 1998. If Hadayet met with Al-Zawahiri it further increases the likelihood of the link between Ali Mohammed, Bin Laden's Egyptian lieutenant for AlQaeda and FBI operative. How much of this did the FBI/CIA know at the time and how much did they not know but should have known??

Based on Uncle Bill's reply #36, it is even possible that Hadayaet provided Lincoln limosines for Hanni Hanjour, the Hijacker pilot, and perhaps AlZawahiri when ALi Mohammed was squiring him around in California in 1998.

The 1993 WTC attack was planned in OKC at a Hamas conference shown in CNN reporter Steve Emerson's video 'Jihad in America" which was filmed at the conference in December 1991. And Khalid Mohammed appears to have been involved in the OKC bombing as well as the 9/11 attacks and the 1993 WTC attack.
