You're not kidding. My sister lives up there, so my niece and nephew have been raised there. My niece is down this week staying with us, and it's making me sick to hear some of the liberal drivel that comes out of her mouth.

The other day, I was discussing Tom Clancy's book "The Bear and the Dragon" with my parents. There's a part of the book where a Chinese woman is almost forced to have an abortion because she didn't get the required permission from the government to have a second child after her first child died. I was describing the scene to my parents, and my niece actually started defending the Chinese government for performing forced abortions. Then she went on to say that "women have the right to control their offspring". I asked her whether that meant that a woman whose child is already born should be able to kill it, and she said "Well, it's better than forcing an unwanted child to grow up in that environment." I was stunned to hear her say that. A few minutes later, she told me that she couldn't believe that she could say something like that...
