What a stupid rule anyway. Have they proven that the 9/11 hijackers did their deeds during the first or last thity minutes of the flights? If so, thought all that extra security that one passes through before boarding the plane eliminates (pardon the pun) the passengers they allow on! Just some more rules on the american citizen while the REAL culprits carry on. Senseless straing a gnat and swallowing a camel. We're still on our own for our own safety.

What a stupid rule anyway.

It's all about POWER.

Unearned POWER.

Unearned POWER taken and wielded, by force, by those too stupid to ever have earned it by merit.

[For the POWER Lust is the noxious weed that flourishes in the vacant lot of EMPTY "minds"]

This is the rationale: If the plane gets taken over at the first or last minute on a flight in DC, a target rich environment, there would be no time to respond(like shooting it down).

I beleive the story here is that first they all had to wait to take off. Then another 30 minutes before leaving their seats. By this time, it sounds like there was a rush for the lavs and a wait in line. Apparently, Mr Sanford couldn't hold it any longer.

Maybe he has a physical problem shared by many older men.
