I still can't see how the Saudi people are friends of the US.

We should replace our oil imports from Saudi if possible.

As I posted months ago, America should have initiated gasoline rationing as we did in WW II, and stopped all imports from the Saudis.

Maybe that would expose the anti-drilling, anti-refinery "environmentalists" for what they truly are: Anti-American.

heh heh I checked CBS profile of Saudi Arabia. They dont make anything and 25% of their imports come from the USA. So let them try to boycott us. It will hurt them a LOT more than it will hurt us.

The saudis are checkbook terrorists.

People ignore the fact that the boycott is a form of jihad, involving a bitter struggle with oneself which will bring rewards from God

Heh heh heh, "Allah's" rewards can't even beat a McDonald's happy meal.

"Give the boycott an opportunity to bear fruit by making this summer a season of dull business for the American tourist industry. "

LOL.... no one is that dumb are they? Does he really think that the US tourist industry will even notice if all the Saudis stay home this summer?

All I can wonder is how we ensure that a flight from Saudi Arabia is not piloted by a Jihad Johnny?

A recent report that airline reservations from the Kingdom to the United States were 40 percent of what they were last year shocked me. I had hoped that the number of Saudis traveling to the United States this year would be only five percent of what they were last year.

And they say we Americans don't have anything in common with the Saudis.

I have also been shocked by the normal level of sales of US products at shops in Jeddah

Well at least the sales of personal hygeine products and polygraph machines are still at an all time low. However "Camel Buggering for Dummies" still sits on the top ten bestseller list.

It has been heartening to note Bahrain?s overwhelming welcome to Zam Zam Cola, an Iranian substitute for Coca-Cola

Well Brittney Spears doing a Zam-Zam commercial wouldn't have the same appeal if she's in a burqua. Don't see this going over big.

They should read Khaled Al-Maeena?s recent ?In In? column in Al-Eqtisadiah, a local Arabic daily, dealing with the hate messages coming from the West. The article cited the example of a Westerner praying to God to allow the defeat of the Saudi team at the World Cup!

Well, we did beat Mexico. Someone had to do some serious praying to a deity for that one.

Give the boycott an opportunity to bear fruit by making this summer a season of dull business for the American tourist industry. Let us deprive it of the billions of dollars Arabs and Muslims spend annually so that the afflicted US businessmen exert pressure on their government to return the rights taken away from Arabs and Muslims.

Well Mohammed, give us your worst, I think we'll get by okay. Just remember that payback is a b*tch and the time is coming when all our oil will come from mother Russia. When that joyous day comes, you and all your buddies will be left pounding sand right where we found you...living in tents and chasing goats on a Friday night

This is funny. They can't boycott us. If they could make substitutes for our products, then they wouldn't be so pathetic. Without oil, they would be destitute. They do not have the drive, nor system nor ability to be a self sustained economy. They have one source of revenue, and even better, here's a hint to the saudi's. WE DON'T WANT YOU COMING HERE. How hard is it to understand, we don't want your terrorists, or your checkbooks or your moon god, just stay the hell home with your barbaric people.

It is worth remembering that last month the PM of Pakistan - a MOSLEM country - announced that his country would resort to the FIRST use of nuclear weapons against India, in response to non-nuclear attacks, including conventional warfare, guerilla warfare, and - pay attention - economic warfare.

I'm still waiting for other Moslem governments (including the UN) to condemn that policy.

But, since it's acceptable to Moslems, there's no reason why the US - or Israel - cannot adopt a similar strategy.

I think we should encourage as many "Saudi businessmen" to come to the United States as possible...only, strangely, none should return.

It is disappointing to note that people have returned to US fast-food restaurants, proving that either they are taken in by advertisements ? which emphasize that the restaurants are 100 percent Arab

Interesting. I guess the commitment to 'diversity' proclaimed by US multinational corporations ends at our own shores.
