the Bible does command us to destroy idols...destroying the graven image of mary was certainly a good thing.

Catholics don't worship Mary. I am not Catholic but even I know that.

i have witnessed RCs worshipping mary on many occasions. they bring out their statues of mary, bow down before them, kiss the statues, pray to them, sing to them...that is definately worship. since the reformation, the RCs have made up more and more dogmas that ascribe to mary things that only God can do. they claim that she is sinless, they claim that she is co-mediatrix, they claim that was assumed bodily into heaven, and that she is co-redemptrix. they call her queen of heaven and many other blasphemous names. they call her Advocate, Helper (these were used in the Bible to describe the Holy Spirit, not mary).
