I have often wondered what the breeding ground was to allow the Clintons to reach the power that they did. Phil Donahue played no small part in the dumbing down of the American housewife. His liberal and sarcastic banter was drummed into these women day in and day out. His early "lowlife-shock-shows" paved the way for much permisiveness in our contemporary society. Enter the Clintons.

I had a liberal bent back then but I felt the first rumblings of Conservatism the election night Clinton won (the first time). When I learned that night that Clintoon had won, the pit of my stomach dropped and I said to myself, "Oh dear Lord, what have we done?" "We", obviously, meaning those of us who voted for Xlintoon. I had voted for him and I was completely creeped out by him and Hellary from then on. I do wish Fox News had been around then.
In the past 3-5 years, I have completely redeemed myself. I am not the same person....I would say the pendulum has completely swung waaaaay Right. AND I am not swinging back!
