Well thankyou. I understand I won't have to go through the whole annual process of getting my vehicle inspection sticker rejected either, haha...

I might end up in Houston just because of restrictions and limitations of my hirability and whatnot, but I think I'd dig Dallas-FW area better, the more I hear about Houston...

Not! Houston is what DFW wants to be - a REAL big city, not one that had to join its next-door neighbor to be considered big. Houston is a fabulous place - I speak from 33 years here. What kind of lies have people been telling you? :)

Just stay out of Harris County... Surrounding counties of Houston are nice.

Wrong on that one, Partner. In fact it now costs $39.50 for an inspection in Houston, Dallas or Fort Worth.

I have to suggest DFW area to you over Houston (sorry Houston folks) - yes the traffic is bad, but Dallas AND Fort Worth are great places...... Houston is way too humid - I lived in between Dallas and Fort Worth for several years and loved it!
