OK, all of Marin County should be declared "wilderness" and should be depopulated immediately. Also the City and County of San Francisco. Put those into the bill, and I'll support it.

Still, Boxer has no Republican co-sponsors and expects the Bush administration to oppose the bill.

That is no incentive at all. The rest of the country will gladly give up 2.5 million acres to avoid the risk of Barbara Streisand moving into their town.

Some Californians tried to salvage the statue of Lenin that was deposed in Leningrad twelve years ago, but the Democrats killed that effort since it would not look good on the evening news.

I wish they had succeeded and shown the world their true stripes.

I have, scattered over several files & floppies, some links to the generic subject of "too dam' much govmint meddling"-- let's see what I can find:

-Pushback the Bureaucracy--

-The Thoreau Institute Urban Growth and Transportation Studies--

has a lot of info & opinion refuting the "urban sprawl," "Lite rail/mass transit" and related items...

And more here:

-Independence Institute--"Rights" Research

Consider the source. Barbara Boxer has nothing but corruption under her belt. Think about how she got elected.
