The guy should have found a way to make his stupid point without inconveniencing a bunch of other people. This is the kind of guy I'd like to smack.
Ah, but inconveniencing them was the only way to make them think about their situation. 100% drive over the limit, but only 50% want it to increase. The other 50% are perfectly happy driving faster, but want the cops to stop
other people who are going as fast as they are. I think it's important to point out people's inconsistencies to them.
