I pray the bill passes! My body and my life belong to me...not the Federal Government or any State.

Prayers won't work for Hawaii - too far gone even for God. The entire State is run by socialist democraps.

If you know that your are going to die, and you dont want to sit in a hospital bed for a few months in agonizing pain waiting out in slow death, what is so wrong about wanting to just end it quick?

It was defeated 14-11. Truly a victory for civilized man.

Those senators favoring assisted suicide had brought it to the floor using questionable tactics, bypassing the designated committee, sabotaging protocol. My plea to them on the vote today was that an issue with all of the social/moral ramifications that this one has is deserving of extensive public debate, and to force it through in such a manner would alienate them with far more voters than it would attract.

We Christians will continue to pray for our fellow Libertarians, with whom we share so much. I believe you can be convinced that assisted suicide is no more a social good than is abortion.
