Al-Qaeda claims attack on Tunisia synagogue: paper

Posted on 04/15/2002 2:51:55 PM PDT by Maedhros

Suspected terror mastermind Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda network claimed responsibility for the blast near a synagogue which killed 15 including ten German tourists last week in Tunisia, the Al-Qods Al-Arabi newspaper said.

The London-based Arab daily, which did not say how it obtained the claim, said "the Al-Qaeda netowrk of Sheikh Osama bin Laden claims the operation against the Djerba synagogue."

"This suicide operation is a response to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip," said a document, which the newspaper claimed was a genuine Al-Qaeda statement.

The statement said Tunisian Nizar bin Mohammed Nawar, aka Saif al-Din al-Tunsi carried out the operation, masterminded by the "the command of the Islamic army for the liberation of holy places."

"This suicide operation is also a reprisal for (Arab) governments' refusal to allow their peoples to launch jihad (holy war) against the Jews," said the text carried by the newspaper.

The daily also published the testament of the alleged kamizake, calling on members of his family do die as "martyrs".

Authorities in Tunisia maintain that the blast was an accident caused when a truck carrying natural gas went out of control and crashed into the wall surrounding the Griba synagogue on the island of Djerba, bursting into flames as a group of German tourists visited the site.

As soon as al-Qaida reads about the Chinese plane crash in Korea yesterday, they'll be claiming credit for that.

This shows how impotent the al Qaeda goat humping thugs have become since they lost Afghanistan.

They now are claiming credit for a natural gas explosion.

This will be the next natural gas explosion, that they will be taking credit for: (Al-Queerdos latest victory with natural gas explosions)

"Al-Qaida cut the seatbelt in Dale Earnhardt's car at Daytona."

They also caused the Tampa Bay Buccanneers to lose a chance at the SuperBowl, thereby causing us to lose Coach Dungy, end up with the "Chuckie" doll for a coach (although he is good) and .....Oh. Nevermind. ;-)

Nonsense - it was an accident! Since when did Muslim governments or Muslim officials ever make stuff up? It's terrible how the US believes that the Egyptian pilot crashed his plane on purpose! The Egyptian government told us this was impossible since he was a Muslim - and that's good enough for me!

That's right. Everyone knows that Muslims never lie--NOT. Hah! The Koran actually exhorts its followers to deceive the infidels. Those Muslim officials were only following orders from allah's agent, Mohammed. I hope that this incident puts a serious dent in Tunisia's tourist business! (Hey, one of the non-Jewish German eye-witnesses who survived said that Tunisia's version of what happened was false!!!)

Arabian culture is knee-deep in taquiyyah-talk. They lie, boast and make wild accusations without proof. If you call them out on it, they get mad and will try to kill you for humiliating them with the truth. Talk about self-esteem problems. I won't even go into their ideas of logic...

If they were then the newspapers would most likely be towing the party line "nothing to see here move along". My guess is that the gov't wants to keep the US off their soil and will handle the problem internally while the newspaper is promoting certain Muslim interests by "keeping hope alive" so to speak that Al-Quida is still a viable group.

LOL, that is exactly what I was comparing it to with a friend this afternoon.

Ever since your "Dead Terrorist Walking" comment shortly after we last saw him alive in December, I've thought OBL only had a future as prop in future movie releases.

You posted about my movie review last December, "Dead Terrorist Walking" comment shortly after we last saw him alive in December.

This latest Arab Bravo Sierra release, "Does sound like a combo of Weekend Two at Bernie Ben Laden's combined with "Dead Terrorist Walking"

Sounds like a cult semi horror b flick with a real low budget!

"DEAD TERRORIST WALKING IN WEEKEND 2 AT BERNIE BEN LADEN'S"! rated IFT or Islamic Fairy Tales of Bennie Larden, the terrorist you can't kill.
