A wonderfull sollution! In a perfect world, the only one that makes sence!
In the real world, which a lot of people deal with daily, childcare decisions are a fact of life.
You just may want to stop being so supercillious and acknowledge that there is a reality for many, many families that does not mirror your perfect situation.I hope you are never put in the same position, whether by death or divorce.
yep! divorced here (19 years ago) and had no other choice BUT to use child care. parents did not agree with my choice of a husband, so when kids came along, they literally moved 500 miles away and washed their hands of the whole situation. actually had kids 3 years after being married (no premarital hoo haw here!) ex-hubby did not want a kid (these things DO happen; even with birth control), so he left and fought child support all the way. had to earn a living somehow with my spendiferous high school education (which nowadays guarantees me an interview at micky dees; you need an associates to run the register). i guess people would be happier had i stayed home with kiddies and lived off the gov't teat?
