European anti-semitism never fully died. In fact, it is a bit too convenient to blame the Nazis and, more recently, the Soviets. There will always be rampant anti-semitism because the Adversary is out to destroy the Chosen People of YHWH. He thinks that if he can destroy Jews (which he has tried throughout the history of the Jews), then he will have prevented YHWH from fulfilling his covenant. This will worsen until Messiah comes (again!).
