Markey is an anti-nuke politician who want to federalize half the free world.

Good Lord. It is very believeable. Nuclear plants are power producing stations, not military fortresses. Of course they aren't hardened...they're expensive enough as it is.
Sorry, but this is all FUD. Most of these plants were made 20 years ago. Hmm... Gosh, I guess they should've been psychic. Heck, the builders of the WTC buildings in NY should be sued because they didn't provide adequate design considerations for fully fueled commerical aircraft nailing them just so.
You go ahead and get a lawyer. I'll watch.

"3.) Spent nuclear fuel in significant quantities exists at reactors all across the US and is stored in buildings that are not hardened structures, some of which reportedly have sheet metal roofs"
Doesn't this support the decision to store the waste in Nevada?

3.) Spent nuclear fuel in significant quantities exists at reactors all across the US and is stored in buildings that are not hardened structures, some of which reportedly have sheet metal roofsBut Nevada keeps on telling us that doesn't matter. < / sarcasm >

FIRST: Markey is a nobody in Congress who obviously wants to take the shortest route to becoming a "name" in politics.
SECOND: He's 100% ANTI-Nuclear power
THIRD: Anyone who thinks that the Bush Administration has somehow overlooked our Nuclear Plants and every possible scenerio for terrorists to involve them is the same kind of nitwit as a certain nobody congressman who took SEVEN MONTHS FOLLOWING 9/11 to think that our Nuclear Plants could be a target of terrorists.

A video surfaced to help us Nevadans fight Yucca Mtn. Nuclear Storage. It shows those casks that they store the spent fuel in being hit by a handheld rocket launcher. It punctured the tank, despite the scientists protests to the contrary.

We have a spent fuel problem unlike the Europeans because they have a "breeder reactor" to re-cycle spent fuel.
President Jimmy Carter cancelled this country's breeder reactor program in the 1970's
