Even assuming that Dubya did wave, at least he didn't bite Wonder on the lip while raping him.

What the heck does Barbara Mikkelson mean by saying that much of the public think that Bush is not the brightest sort of fellow? WHAT public? Leftists? Socialists? Wouldn't they love for that to be true? He had higher grades in school than Gore the policy wonk. He keeps outsmarting the liberals and they can't stand it.

Otherwise, it's a good article and thank you, Doug.

After running the item as true and being challenged upon it by the Ford's Theatre Artistic Director

Well that is refreshing...usually the artsy types are liberal and corroborate each other's lies about conservatives.

Barbara had to get in a little dig, even while defending him in this situation. It must have wounded her deeply to have to correct this.

This just proves media bias.

How many stories were done about how Clinton viewed the DMZ with the lens caps on his binoculars? Oh, I forgot, Clinton is very, very smart.

Start with Ann Richards, the Texas Dems. and keep adding people all the way past Al Gore and Joe Lieberman. Keep on going and you race by the Euro Trash and the Euro Media. Move along and count Congress on the Tax cut issue and other issues. Add Bin Laden and others and you have one HUGE group of people Bush has PROVEN he is smarter than.

The only thing stupid here is another one of these "Bush is stupid" stories.

PS - He can fly jets!

it was a small motion of the sort one routinely makes to an acquaintance across a crowded room. Moreover, the motion appears to have been directed at Kelsey Grammer, the emcee of the evening.

This doesn't sound convincing. "appears and seems to be".... Is there a link to video as proof? Otherwise the story will live.

the point is not that stupid gw got a higher SAT than rhodes scholar bradley, rather it is that gw - he with the 'gentleman-Cs', dared, yes DARED to beat albert gore's dunce-man-Ds...even though mastah Gore is third only to willie j clinton and hillary rodham in the alternate-IQ test known as press-suckUp-Quotient assessment.

Even if the President wanted to salute Stevie Wonder in front of the audiance as a sign of respect for the man what would be the big deal? I understand the man is blind, but so what? Maybe he was waiving to the band, the actor or a fan of his own waiving at him. So what in any case? I see no issue anyway even if he stood up and blew kisses and Stevie!

What if Bush wanted to make sure Stevie's family saw him showing respect?

If he hadn't waved, the left would say he was showing disrespect for Stevie Wonder by not acknowledging his presence.

Where did you get that? Is that real?

I would like to say that with the exception of the astronomy grade, those are pretty good marks for Yale in 1966, WHEN GRADES STILL MEANT SOMETHING.

Well, at least we SAW his grades, even if they were leaked by a crappy liberal in the administration of that university.

You can right-click on an image and
get its address.  In the case of the
transcript, you would have gotten
this.  Is it real?  I think so.
