How would they know everywhere the terr's had been?

The apparent cutaneous anthrax episode in the article was in June, 2001. Here are some interesting facts:

• According to this link, Alhaznawi entered the U.S. in June, 2001.
• The new information in this article also jibes with other information from that time period. Here's what I found: "On May 2, Mr. Jarrah obtained a Florida driver's license, and 10 days later registered a decade-old red Mitsubishi Eclipse. Later, he relocated to a house in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, where he was apparently living with suspected hijacker Ahmed Alhaznawi." (This is according to a web page I saved earlier but which has apparently disappeared from the web [I could probably dig up another source].)
