Hang on, hoss! Yeah, I reckon it wasn't connected. Those two countries of classical antiquity do not share any borders, and I double assure you there are no wires across the strait that separates Italy from Albania.

Guess you missed the part about it, the line that is, being connected to an underwater cable. I'd like to see that, a 400KV underwater power line, but remind me not to go swiming in the area where it goes into the water.
