Either that or the UN retreats into a strict role of diplomacy in which it might, although somewhat redundant, actually do some good. Emphasis on might since diplomacy was essentially the function of the UN's ill-fated and impotent predecessor, the League of Nations. The UN as presently constituted is a dysfunctional, socialist body that can only harm the interests of America and all mankind. I'm all for our withdrawal from membership and its eradication, but not even the most conservative of our leaders seem willing to openly advocate that.

I expect that would change once the populace of this nation had a sudden paradigm and saw things as they really are, resulting in a dramatic reconstitution of Congress. That's what we labor for. That's why we're here.
