Actually he kept Braun as far off camera as possible. Few outside of his inner-circle and the staff at his private retreat knew of his relationship with Braun until after the war.
As for Hitler being gay, I think that reading the book would tell me a lot more about the author then it would about the dictator.
As fruity as AH was, it's certainly not hard to believe. If he was, it explains a lot.....
