Today is the “quietest” 9/11 I’ve ever seen on FR.
That’s a bit disconcerting. Never mind those who insist it was the US that did it, not Arab Moslems. Ridiculous.
I know- it was very quiet for FR.
I worked all day and then watched some of the videos in YouTube. It’s like it happened last year...or 100 years ago.
I knew many people jumped but yesterday I learned it was 200 plus. 200 souls. I believe they fell into the arms of God.
We all said nothing would be the same after that day. Little did we know...
The first time I saw a doc that displayed openLy the tower jumpers (I’m sure some of them just fell), was only within the last 10. Like they were afraid to reveal the full reality. The giant “THWACK” when each person hit was extremely disconcerting.
They still haven’t had the nerve to show the fallen bodies.
Today is 9/11/23 - Patriot’s Day. Never forget. On this day, in 2001, our world changed forever. For me, I came to this realization watching television news, as the second plane hit the tower.
My husband and I had taken time off from work that week to finish up some construction of our new house. I was the first one up, and listened to the news as I cared for our two year old daughter. Hearing about the plane hitting the first tower, I prayed for the victims, but assumed that it was some kind of accident. I began watching the screen, and saw the second tower hit. I woke my family, and said, “This means war.”
