Just wondering if there is any more news on murdered Freeper Chief Negotiator.
The latest on CHIEF negotiator is that the investigation into his death is still underway. It was definitely an arson fire, with multiple accelerants used. The results of the autopsy have not been released and no one at HFD or HPD will explain why this investigation is taking so long.
Are there any FReepers in the Houston area with high level connections to the HFD or HPD? We need some help here!
The good news is that Mrs. Meadows' insurance company has rented her an apartment and her immediate needs are being met. Under the circumstances, she is doing as well as can be expected. She is, as we all are, extremely frustrated by the inability or unwillingness of the HFD and HPD to aggressively investigate and resolve the mystery surrounding the fire that killed Herb.
Belinda does not yet have a computer, so if you would like to send a note of support to her, send it to her sister, Alwayswatching. I know she would like to hear from you.
I wish I had more positive information to report to you this morning, but I do not. When I do, I will post it.
Thank you for your interest and concern.
Given the recent voter fraud in the Houston Mayoral race, it is apparent there is corruption in that Texas city's government. (not unusual for any of the big cities of this nation).
Or maybe some FReeper owns their own P.I. agency and would investigate this heinous crime?
I'm afraid I don't know anybody in Houston, but someone should give them a kick in the butt to get them moving.
I wonder what the significance is of multiple accelarants means. Was it a more sophisticated job? Too many questions, not enough answers, and a very good man is gone from us. Sometimes life is a cherry, and sometimes it is just the pits. This situation is the pits.
Thanks again, please keep us informed if you hear anything.
Guess that my brain is taking the weekend off and failed to inform me.
