That's right. There's not enough revival, because there's not enough prayer.

That's just part of the problem. What we need is true Bibilical preaching. Paul said that it is through the foolishness of preaching (or the messagae preached) that God has chosen to save those that believe. Note - he didn't say through prayer, special music, special meetings, etc., but through preaching. We need to pray that God would raise up men who are not afraid to preach the Gospel according to Jesus Christ.

Richard Lovelace, author of Renewal as a Way of Life, (a condensed version of his larger work The Dynamics of Spiritual Growth) stated that two types of sermons that are used of by the Holy Spirit to bring in revival were messages on the Holiness of God and the sinfulness of man. When was the last time you heard such of a message in the main line churches??

No no no no no, I think you misread me. You're not obliged, of course, to read everything (or anything) I write, but I think if you'll start at my first message in this thread, then read subsequent replies and my replies to them, you'll have a different impression of what I'm saying.
