EWING -- For years, the Wynnewood Manor development off Lower Ferry Road was an example of how suburban residents always seem to describe where they live: Quiet.

Yesterday, residents of the 300-home West Trenton community of small, one-story houses didn't have noise to deal with but they did have to contend with a lot more than leaves to rake, grass to cut and children to meet at the school bus stop.

Why am I dubious an anthrax mailer would put the letters out in his mailbox for the regular mail lady to pick up.

For that matter why not just put the correct return address on the anthrax letter?

I am getting tired of those reports indicating that such and such quiet village harbors terrorists we had no idea about. Give me a break, radical Islam has been spilling over in the US with cohorts of so called moderates but who have no qualms at bashing America.

The anthrax producer would need a sealed room under negative pressure and a bio suit to work in, just to survive production attempts. There would be evidence of a laboratory. No, the anthrax was not produced here and the perp does not live here. The FBI actually thought they could get perp DNA off the envelopes. They thought someone would actually lick an envelope containing anthrax spores. The B or C team must be all that's left to work these issues. Scary thought.

Well, you know what? Maybe the swine who hijacked the jets dropped a little mail off on their way to the airport. Maybe they knew they wouldn't have to worry about living long enough to get a full blown case of anthrax. Maybe they did lick the envelope. If they did, we need to know about it. So in this case I think the FBI is doing their job just right.

Boy, am I glad YOU are not in charge of the investigation. B and C teams my @$$!
