I have to agree, the opinion piece makes many good points, but draws some bad conclusions. The world will no longer tolerate terrorist attacks on Israel as it has in the past. Further, civilized countries know these types of attacks can, just as easily happen to them, and do. 62 countries lost citizens in this attack.

Many of us were surprised to hear responses coming from both U.S.citizens and our so-called allies suggesting the U.S. somehow deserved the terrorist attack.

The "blame the victim" crowd is universal. I've heard it from those on the left, Democrats, Republicans, Pat Buchanan, libertarians. It seems the anti-Americans in our midst have done a good job in programming our people. Fortunately, most people don't buy into such nonsense.

Suggesting that there are reasons why people around the world hate the US is not the same as blaming the victim, nor is it the same as suggesting that we should not take action against the perpetrators.

Aren't you curious _why_ so many people want to kill us? If we can identify those reasons, we can start taking action to prevent future attacks, by dealing with those resons.
