Einstein's belief that the speed of light must always be the same - 186,000 miles a second in a vacuum. Now, it all depends on the meaning of: 'light', 'mile', 'second' and 'vacuum'. Doesn't it?

"Einstein's belief that the speed of light must always be the same - 186,000 miles a second in a vacuum." Einstein was basically stating his belief that light travels at 186,000 miles per second inside a light bulb, before crashing into the refrigerator!
