Kristi Noem, the governor of South Dakota whose chance of being Donald Trump’s presidential running mate was widely deemed over after she published a description of shooting dead a dog and a goat, claimed reports of the story were “fake news” but also that the dog in question, Cricket, a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer, was “extremely dangerous” and deserved her fate.
“You know how the fake news works,” Noem told Fox News. “They leave out some or most of the facts of a story, they put the worst spin on it. And that’s what’s happened in this case.

Noem should've not even write about that part, she's damged goods now. and will hinder president Trump should he pick her, and i'm sure President Trump will do the right thing.
Which is worse...
Killing an animal which is a threat to family and friends...
or killing the helpless unborn children in the womb?
Democrats equate the killing of innocent and helpless children to the killing of a dog that is dangerous.
Now she’s attacking the puppy posthumously. Just leave it out of your book next time ya dumb broad.

She shot that dog and the dog won.
That’s what I find quite stunning. She is that tone deaf that she didn’t think anything of writing about it. Many people these days don’t consider dogs and cats pets. They’re considered family members. I like pets well enough, but to say it’s a member of the family is a little too far for me.
Maybe Kristi should have kept this whole incident to herself. She has demonstrated that her judgement is seriously flawed. I pretty much wrote her off for any higher office when she vetoed the trans sports bill.
She had every right to kill her dog in a humane manner. This being driven by animal rights fanatics who think that the lives of their pets are more important than the issues affecting people, such as transgenderizing kids, wrecking our economy, invading migrants, and useless wars.
I didn’t know about the goat, that’s it for me!

No one is going to disown her in farm country over killing a bad dog.
She thought it would make her look tough. She was wrong. This method may have been understood several decades ago. But, times have changed. She should never have added it.
From a political POV, that's probably worse than shooting a dog.;-)
If it wasn’t presented in its proper context, then it qualifies as fake news.
Why are so many idiots so wrapped up about this? Good Lord, have we all gone so flipping soft!? A dog is a dog is a dog. I love dogs, but a bad dog needs to be put down. At least she had more balls than a lot of men apparently, and did it herself.

Fake News is described as news that may have an element of truth to it, but it’s slanted and biased to fit some political narrative.
